Ranell has been a Strength and Speed Coach & Coach Educator for over 20 years is at the forefront of youth development in Australia and a true expert is speed development. In 2019, Ranell was awarded the ‘ASCA Performance Development Coach of the Year’ for her work at the Academy of Sport Speed Australia.

DR. CRAIG HARRISON


HEAD COACH ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

An expert in youth athlete development, Craig specialises in the physical and mental sides of sport. He is a coach and researcher with a unique ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way that inspires action. Craig teaches youth athletes how to unlock personal performance & fulfil their sporting potential.

ALEX NATERA


SENIOR ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST GWS GIANTS

Alex is currently the Senior Athletic Performance Specialist at the GWS Giants AFL team with experience across a range of sports at various National Institutes of Sport in the EIS and SAIS. Prior to moving to the Giants Alex spent 4 years working at Aspire Academy developing their Senior Sprinters.

LACHLAN WILMOT


DIRECTOR OF COACHING & PERFORMANCE ATHLETES AUTHORITY

Lachlan has nearly 15 years experience working with developmental and elite athletes. Prior to focusing on his own private company, Athletes Authory, he has held positions as Head of Athletic Performance at the Paramatta Eels (NRL) and Senior Athletic Performance Specialist GWS Giants (AFL).

SIMON HARRIES


ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST – WESTERN SYDNEY FOOTBALL CLUB

Simon Harries is a Senior Athletic Performance Specialist at the Greater Western Sydney Giants AFL club, where he is responsible for coordinating the rehabilitation of injured players.

He is an accredited Strength and Conditioning coach that has spent the last decade working with elite and developing level athletes across AFL, Rugby League, Rugby Union and Rugby Sevens.

GARY RAFFERTY


STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH – CHOOSE FOOTBALL 

Gary is a S&C coach specialising in the development of youth soccer players. He also works with UK based company Colour-Fit Nutrition, leading its implementation in Australia through his private business Two Football Guys.

Gary has 15 years coaching experience, including coaching squads in school, club and academy settings as well as individual coaching at youth, semi-pro, and professional level in the UK, USA and Australia.

DARRELL O’NEILL


S&C COACH – CRANBROOK

Darrell is a strength and conditioning coach at Cranbrook School in Sydney and is currently in his fifth year working at the school. He leads the strength and conditioning for the football teams at the school and coaches across all sports and ages.

Darrell has been working in strength and conditioning for the last 10 years and has worked in University, academy and club settings.

PAUL HALLAM


HEAD OF ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT  – CRANBROOK

Paul is the Head of Athletic Development at Cranbrook School in Sydney and is currently in his fifth year working at the school. He oversees the athletic development programme for all sports and ages at the school, in addition to his role as Head of Athletics.

Paul has worked in schools for over 20 years and has been involved with academy rugby league teams during this time. In addition, he has also been Australia’s Head Sprints Coach at World Athletics Championships, 2 Commonwealth Games and the 2012 London Olympics.


KELLY BEAHAN


S&C COACH WINTER OLYMPICS BEIJING 2022
After a career in NRL with Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks, Australian Rugby Union, all formats of the game with Cricket NSW including BBL/WBBL, Kelly has now taken on the challenge of preparing athletes for the Winter Olympics Beijing 2022 in the disciplines of Slalom, Super G and Downhill.
Contracts with Tennis, Gymnastics and Olympic kayak/canoe have helped shape her perception and experience.

PROFESSOR SOPHIA NIMPHIUS


EDITH COWAN UNIVERSITY / SOFTBALL WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Professor Sophia Nimphius is an internationally recognised researcher and practitioner for her contributions to improving applied practice in sport. Her research focuses on the enhancement of athletic performance and reduction of injury risk in athletes.

She is currently the Professor of Human Performance at Edith Cowan University (ECU), leads High-Performance Services for Softball Western Australia and is a current Board Member for the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association.

DONNA MILLER


HEAD OF S & C, HUNTER VALLEY GRAMMAR SCHOOL

Donna has worked in the S&C industry for over 10 years, working both privately, in team settings and the high school setting.

Her background includes working in Suburban and Shute Shield Rugby Union, NSW U16s Schools Rep Squads, Jersey Flegg Rugby League (U20s), as well as being part of high school programs including Newington College and St Andrew’s Cathedral School.

She is currently Head of Strength & Conditioning at Hunter Valley Grammar School in the Hunter.
