Child To Champion returns to the UK for the fourth time on the 30-31st May 2020 at the fantastic Hartpury University facilities in Gloucestershire.
The Child To Champion event has grown into the a must attend event for strength and conditioning coaches, sports coaches and PE teachers responsible for developing youth athletes into high level performers.
Through the previous events we have brought together leading S&C practitioners and researchers providing you the opportunity to learn from leaders in the field and enhance your pathways and programmes for your athletes.
Whatever setting you work in, whether it’s a professional sports team, local sports club, school or Centre of Excellence you will not want to miss this opportunity to learn, share and connect with leaders in the field and join a community of coaches passionate about the development of young athletes.

What Can You Expect?
Child To Champion 2020 will offer you the chance to learn from leaders in the field of Long Term Athletic Development, as well as share ideas and make lasting connections with other coaches.
You will have the opportunity to participate in a range of theory, hands-on practical sessions and roundtable discussions across a range of topics. Led by coaches from a variety of different environments including Elite sport, Professional Academies, Schools and Centres of Excellence.
Learn from experienced coaches that have been in the trenches of athlete development and walk away at the end of the weekend with new knowledge and methods as well as the critical part – how to apply it!
Our aim is to help coaches like you enhance your LTAD pathways, so we can all do a better job developing well rounded athletes, and to help them to progress into successful careers.

DR. DAN BAKER
AUSTRALIAN STRENGTH & CONDITIONING ASSOCIATION
Dr. Dan Baker is currently the president of the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association. Previously, Dan has an extensive coaching career working with the Brisbane Broncos for 20 years, Queensland Reds Rugby Union team, as well as coaching elite athletes in mixed marital arts (cage fighting), diving, soccer, netball, track & field and of course, powerlifting.
PGA EUROPEAN TOUR / ENGLAND GOLF / CRANLEIGH SCHOOL
Simon is a consultant S&C Coach and Advisory Board Member to the PGA European Tour Performance Institute (ETPI), official providers of Sports Medicine, Physiotherapy and Performance services to professional golfers on tour. He is also the South region S&C coach for England Golf (U18 Squads) and Head of S&C at Cranleigh School in Surrey, UK.
HEAD OF SPORT SCIENCE & ACADEMY MEDICINE
DERBY FOOTBALL CLUB
Luke is the Head of Sports Science and Academy Medicine at Derby County Football Club. He is responsible for the athletic development of all players from first team to under 9’s. He is currently completing a doctorate investigating the role of isometric strength training in team sports and was named the UKSCA’s Youth Coach of the Year in 2019.

- 15-29 days before the event = 50% refund
- 8-14 days before the event = 25% refund
- 7 days or less before the event = no refund
